Disabled man attacked in street

Police want to find the second man who was assaultedPolice in Dundee are hunting a man who attacked two men, including one who was disabled.

He knocked the 50-year-old's shopping on the ground and kicked his hand in the city's Victoria Road at about 1530 BST on Wednesday.

The victim was then approached by another man, who said that he had also just been assaulted by the same person.

The suspect, said to be about 40, was wearing a black bomber jacket and black jeans, with hair in a pony-tail.

Tayside Police have appealed for help from the public to find him.
A spokeswoman said: "We would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the assaults.

"In particular, we are keen to trace the second man who claimed to have also been assaulted by the same man.
"The area would have been busy with passers-by and traffic at the time, and I am confident that the man responsible would have been seen in Victoria Road, as his description is quite distinctive."
