A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a teenager in Glasgow.

James Thompson, 18, was found with serious injuries in Drumpellier Street, in Provanhill, on Monday lunchtime. He died a few hours later in hospital.

A spokesman for Strathclyde Police said a 28-year-old man was being held in police custody and a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.

The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
