Bring on the next election

Bring on the next election

I NOTICE that self-appointed regular Echo columnist Bill Julian has attempted to educate readers of the dangers of the Conservatives being elected to power – “Tories Could Endanger Us” (Viewpoints, August 18).

He lists many of the measures incorporated into the Health and Safety Act, both sensible and frivolous, which he claims would be scrapped by David Cameron.

His reference to recruiting children as chimney sweeps introduces a childish aspect to his latest epistle.

He should stop to consider the numerous dangers this present Labour Government poses to its citizens.

Politicising our police service, failing to tackle a rampant yob culture, destructive realignment of various hospital services, the disgraceful treatment of our wonderful troops and absolute incompetence in wasting millions of pounds from our excessive taxes to name just a few.

Get your head out of the sand, Bill, and face the reality of the declining state of Britain today.

Bring on the next general election.

Yes please... even today's worst case scenario gives Labour a 10 seat majority over the combined strength of all other parties. Should be enough to keep the Tory bastards down where they belong and give the rest of us 5 more years of taking the piss out of them.

Sounds good to me... bring it on!
