Mum's anger at yobs
AN ANGRY mum-of-one woke up to discover a gang of youths who have been terrorising Bewbush had thrown concrete slabs at her car.
And to top it off the unruly teens had also vandalised her friend's car – causing more than £100 worth of damage to his 'pride and joy'.Lucy, 26, of Pegwell Close was alerted to the damage by a neighbour the following day, Sunday, September 2, who had stopped the gang from setting his wheelie bin alight the previous night.
She said: "I heard kids causing trouble outside but they're always out there playing up. I had no idea what they were up to otherwise I'd have gone outside and stopped them.
"I only moved to Crawley from Sutton just over a year ago and the same kids have always been hanging around causing trouble.
"They're about 16 to 17-years-old and they've been targeting some of the neighbours for months.
"Cars regularly get damaged, they set wheelie bins on fire and generally throw abuse at people; they're really unpleasant but nothing seems to be done about them."
