LIVERPOOL: Hunt for station yobs

Hunt for station yobs

THESE three men are being hunted by police after a gang tried to rob a bike from a man at a Liverpool train station.

The victim was pushing his bicycle across the concourse at Lime Street, towards Lord Nelson Street, when he was confronted.

They challenged the 36-year-old man to a fight before assaulting him and attempting to wrestle his bike away.

A member of the public intervened and the victim managed to keep hold of his bike. The three offenders then walked back into the station empty handed and the victim rode away.

The man was not physically injured but was left extremely shaken.

Detectives want to speak to these men in connection with the attempted robbery on June 22.

The first offender is aged around 19-20, of medium build, approximately 6ft 1ins tall, with black curly hair, and he was clean shaven. The second man is approximately 5ft11ins tall, 19-20, of slim build with short black hair, with a diamond stud earring, a thin well-trimmed beard, and he wore a white tracksuit.

The third offender is 6ft 2ins tall, of medium build and around 20-24, clean shaven with short blond/fair hair and is said to have had a black eye.

Anyone with information should contact DC Nicky McVey on Freefone 0800 405040 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
